COBIT Certification course

COBIT is the framework for IT Governance and Control. Information Technology is growing fast and the demand of the certified individuals on the specific branches is also increasing significantly. Almost all the employers require certificate from the individuals before appointing. Considering the necessity of both the business enterprises and individuals, certification programs are designed by the authorities. COBIT Certification is designed as an IT Governance framework and supporting tools that allows the Management to bridge the gap between control requirement, technical issues and business risks. COBIT enables the candidates a clear policy development and good practice for IT control throughout organizations. COBIT helps the organizations to emphasize regulatory compliance and increase the value attained from IT, enables alignment and simplifies implementation of COBIT framework.

The current version of COBIT 5 Assessment Program helps IT leaders to provide a business view of IT’s ability to create value and support enterprise goals through effective IT processes. COBIT is ISACA’s framework.

COBIT training course may be achieved through an accredited training provider. The Training organizations must go through an accreditation process and obtain a license prior to offering COBIT 5 courses. ISACA has partnered with APMG International to assist with this accreditation process. APMG is a leading examination institute that accredits training courses and consulting organizations, and manages certification schemes for professionals.

The COBIT 5 Foundation Course and exam are available now and the other related courses will be available soon. Training of COBIT 5 is available through ISACA’s training programs, and Network of Accredited Training Organizations (ATOs) and Accredited trainers, which are assessed and certified by APMG. COBIT 5 training course is not mandatory for COBIT 5 exam. COBIT 5 exams are available through APMG’ network of public exam centers.

The COBIT 5 Foundation exam can be taken through ISACA or via an Accredited Training Organization (ATO), or Accredited Trainer as part of the accredited training course. The candidates who want to self-study can take the COBIT 5 exam through one of APMG’s public exam center.

There is no pre-requisite to take the COBIT 5 exam. The intending candidate can sit for the COBIT 5 exam from the scheduled exam center after observing due formalities as available from any of the APMG’s training center.

The candidate, who is willing to take COBIT 5 training course online, can get Instructor lead training for a scheduled period. The candidate has scope in such case, to interact the Instructor. This e-learning training course is cost effective.
